LFA CHARTER STANDARD CLUB OF THE YEAR 2010 18/05.2010
 Penwortham Town have just been awarded Charter Standard Club of the Year for Lancashire by the LFA and will now go forward to the the North West regional finals and hopefully on to the National Finals. This is a fantastic achivement by the club and just reward for all the hard work the committee has done over the past 3-4 years.
Last year's hard work was rewarded with the current under 10's chosen to represent Lancashire in the "McDonalds / The FA" Festival of Football at Wembley Stadium. (see previous article).
The next event for the club will be the annual Football Gala Weekend on Sat 12th / Sun 13th June which will see over 100 teams entering (U6' to U 14's) for 5-a-side & 6-a-side competitions. Places still available - Please contact Warren Gray 07732 771 098 for further details)
